Webmaster’s Choice

I am very proud to be the webmaster for the Friends. I also have other activities outside the Friends and would like to share these with you.

I regularly volunteer at the RAPTC museum and am an active member of the Farnborough & District Radio Society.

Here is more information about them with links to their websites.

RAPTC

Royal Army Physical Training Corp Museum

Who turns a man into a soldier?

This is the story of the Officers and Instructors of the Royal Army Physical Training Corps, the people who train the British Army to be “Fighting fit and fit to fight”.

Based inside the Army School of Physical Training, the RAPTC Museum showcases the historic uniforms and training equipment used by the Corps, as well as the trophies, medals and Olympic memorabilia awarded to its members in over 150 years of service.

Entry to the museum is free, but please check the museums website for opening times.

FDRS
